Disclaimer: The plugin (Geyser) for connecting Bedrock Edition players to our Java Server is very laggy and does not always work. Sorry for the inconvenience.
This is the official server for University of Washington, open to all players to visit! Currently containing a replica of the Seattle Campus and U-District, our server hopes to expand to include the Bothell and Tacoma campuses too. We have many dedicated admins, builders, and non-players helping us grow the server to be a fun platform for UDub students (and visitors alike). We hope you come visit!
Minecraft is NOT FREE. To join our online server you must purchase the Minecraft Java Edition. If you do not have one, we recommend getting the Java Edition. You may purchase the game at this site: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft-java-edition.
After you download the game, make sure it is latest version that you are running.
Start up Minecraft > Click Play > Click Multiplayer
On the bottom right-hand corner, click on Add Server
Under "Server Address", put in play.udubminecraft.com
Feel free to rename the server to whatever you like! (I name it UDub Server)
If you're playing on Bedrock or Pocket Edition, set the port to 25565!
Click on "Done" and the server listing should now show up with the boundless W and says Official UDub Minecraft Server
Hover over the logo and click Play
The screen should start loading and prompt you to download a resource pack. Click Yes
Let it load and congrats! You've made it into our server.
